Privacy
This site deliberately collects very little. This page states precisely what happens, rather than reproducing a template.
What this site does not do
No analytics, no advertising trackers, no social media buttons. Typefaces are served from this server rather than from Google Fonts, so your browser makes no third-party request while reading these pages. The only outbound links are the ones you choose to follow, to ORCID and ResearchGate.
The only cookie
A cookie named NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you chose, French or English. It holds nothing else, identifies no one, and is read only by this site. No consent is required for a cookie strictly necessary to the service.
The contact form
The fields you fill in — name, email address, organisation, subject and message — are used only to deliver your message. They are not written to any database: the message is sent by email and thereafter exists only in the recipient's mailbox. Delivery goes through the Brevo relay, which therefore sees the message in transit.
Abuse limiting
To prevent automated bulk sending, your IP address is held in memory for fifteen minutes while your submissions are counted. It is never written to disk, never associated with the content of your message, and disappears when that window expires or the server restarts.
The mobile application
An internal Android application accompanies this site; it is not intended for the public. It stores the email address of its single account, and a device identifier issued by Google's notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, so that an incoming request can be signalled. That identifier says nothing about a person and concerns only the account holder's device.
Hosting
The site and its database run on a directly administered private server, without any third-party storage or authentication service. Data is neither sold, nor passed on for advertising, nor used to train a model.
Your rights
You may request access to data concerning you, its correction or its erasure. Given the above, in practice this amounts to the messages you have sent. Requests go through the contact form, which is this site's only point of entry.
